Tara’s interest in real estate stems directly from her husband, Jon’s first career- a pilot in the Air Force. As expected with the military, Jon and Tara moved frequently during Jon’s 20-year career. At the beginning of their marriage, Tara put her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from The University of Arkansas to work as an elementary public school teacher for 4 years. Wanting to be a strong support system to Jon and their children, Tara made staying at home a priority, and ended her teaching career with the birth of their son. During her 12 years as a stay at home mom and military spouse, the lifestyle of moving every few years peaked Tara’s interest in residential real estate.
